Inspired by the adage “Charity begins at home,” Rajasekaran’s commitment to helping the underprivileged was instilled from a young age, thanks to his father, a dedicated trade unionist. This deep-rooted sense of duty to enable change was further strengthened through his career as a Medical Conference Manager, where he engaged with numerous medical professionals and honed his expertise.

A master of conceptualization and execution, Rajasekaran has led numerous innovative collaborations with leading organizations on critical issues such as climate change, organ transplants, and obesity. With a distinguished career as an Event Manager, he has orchestrated diverse events ranging from Ilaiyaraja’s music concerts to international conferences, demonstrating exceptional skills in resource mobilization and organizational management.

Rajasekaran’s passion for socialism and years of entrepreneurship have naturally guided him to dedicate his efforts towards transformative community initiatives.

Vision of Happy Elderhood

Rajasekaran’s personal vision to reshape perceptions of aging in India was ignited by his encounter with Dr. V S Natarajan, the pioneer of geriatrics. Co-founding the Geriatric Foundation with Dr. Natarajan, Rajasekaran is committed to empowering seniors to live actively and independently. His goal is to provide access to essential knowledge and services while preserving their dignity.

As the Managing Trustee, Rajasekaran ensures that the Foundation operates with the highest standards, leveraging his extensive experience in community engagement and organizational management to streamline and enhance service delivery.
